NSW: We re not secretive, state government says

SYDNEY, Feb 27 AAP - The New South Wales government today denied its refusal to release
dozens of publicly funded reports was evidence of excessive secrecy.

Opposition Leader Kerry Chikarovski claimed the government wanted to hide the truth about
what was really happening in NSW and promised to deliver more open government if she won the
March 27 election, although she did not say how this would be done.

"We do not believe that government should hide from its citizens, we believe that
government should be open and accountable," she said.
